These are regular desktop images only resized to 1280x1024 to make them smaller for use with the iPad. iPad screen resolution is 1024x768 so the above size will cover thhe desktop in both portrait and landscape mode.

These images can also be used as wallpapers for the iPhone or any other small-screen portable device. Don't use these images on computer screens as they're too small and they won't look right.
